Aspen lives a lifestyle of continuous improvement which allows us to raise the bar through new and creative ideas. Execution of different approaches and tracking those successes is essential in achieving our improvement initiatives that are developed each year.

We are constantly changing with the information we track, but it requires a certain discipline. With the integrated systems that we have, Aspen is able to gather good information about our environment. Our associates, at all levels, have a wide base of knowledge. We have created a culture that allows us to challenge each other, talk freely, brainstorm new ideas and approaches, and carry those ideas out that we think bring opportunities to the process. We measure “before and after” so we know if we’ve provided value to the process and to our customers. But, most importantly, we want our teams to have a desire to improve. This is done through objectives that are tied to performance – and a fun environment.

Each facility operation is supported by technology that is fully integrated with a wide variety of paperless communication devices that are selected to meet the unique needs of each activity within the warehouse.

Associates are developed and recognized for achievements and milestones with specific measurements that are tracked. Equipment, technology and other tools are used that support our processes to ensure the most efficient and effective operation. Our goal is that we execute best in class performance.
