Aspen announces that its new Vice President of Service Solutions will be Greg Cava. Greg will head our efforts to grow our customer base and expand our solutions into a broader range of customer needs and industries. Our Executive team made their selection after vetting through potential candidates and felt that Greg is the perfect fit for their business strategy. Greg has already been an incredible asset to the Aspen organization. He comes from Global Reach Logistics, a company that he co-founded with his brother Jim Cava. For over 20 years Greg has garnered a relationship with Aspen, so he joins the company with an already intimate understanding of their unique business culture and values.  Greg’s profound experience in the industry is an invaluable asset, along with his forward thinking and infallible character. We expect that his appointment will result inhuge strides in our growth. Greg has worked his entire life in the logistics industry. He started his path while working for Santa Fe Railroad, in their Management Trainee program for pricing and sales. He then decided to move into the transportation sector by joining a trucking company’s sales department. He moved-up the corporate ladder and was eventually appointed to Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the transportation division of Sun Oil (under the Sun Carrier Group). Greg was later recruited by a 3^rd party asset-based warehousing and distribution company as the Vice President of Operations, overseeing approximately 3 million sq. ft. of distribution centers along with their transportation fleet. That gave him the experience to open his own 3^rd party warehousing and distribution company (which he co-founded with his brother Jim Cava). Greg served as the company’s CEO and President for 14 years until selling the company to a competitor in 2001. As stated before, Greg most recently co-founded a non-asset based global supply chain consulting company (Global Reach Logistics) serving as the President/CEO.  Greg looks forward to the new challenges and opportunities now with Aspen and is ready to make a great impact on the success of our company.
