Our newest facility and base of operation in Northern California is now fully operational. We leased the facility to better service our customers who are either manufacturing or distributing in the area. The new facility opened in November and has been slowly increasing its operational capacity and services. The facility is located close to the Oakland Coliseum with easy access to the port and bay area cities. We have been looking for some time to increase our footprint in the area and we are excited to capitalize on the new opportunity. Aspen has operated throughout the western region since 1978, but has always anticipated that we would operate a strategic location in Northern California. The area is ripe with a large population and is home to many large manufacturers’ logistics hubs. Our prediction is that this start-up will give some of our customers an access point to new markets. It will also allow us the opportunity to improve the service performances of prospective clients who have existing operations there. The economy being in the dregs has made it an opportune time to capitalize on the available real estate, and enabled us to position ourselves in an area that only a few months ago may have been unattainable. Our national coverage through our extended networks is capable of handling any number of logistics needs around the United States. The new Northern California facility is expected to solidify our place as leader in the west. We are looking forward to another strong year with additional facilities to come.
